Union St. Farmers Market moves West in June

Union St. Farmers Market moves West in June

By Mike Sanford. GLOB Editor

060220MarketLOGOAfter 25 years of being Gainesville's Union St. Farmers Market is moving West. West on Archer Rd. to the Celebration Pointe Shopping area that has more accessible parking and easier shopping access.

"The farmers and vendors are excited," said Market Manager and N. Florida beekeeper Charlie Lybrand. "It was time for a change and this area lends itself to a more friendly shopping experience with easy access for the customers and the vendors," Charlie said with a gleam in his eye.

"It was time for a change, the farmers have been struggling with parking problems and customer access for a long time," Charlie said it will be nice to have everyone in one place for the customers and the vendors.
