8:00: You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, OPENING NIGHT, Gainesville Community Playhouse, various days – times, 4039 NW 16th Blvd. Directed by Susan Christophy Charles Schulz's beloved comic comes to life in this endearing musical. You'll join Charlie Brown and the gang as they contemplate what happiness "is" and how to find it.



8:00: Wild Blue Yonder, Heartwood Soundstage, 619 S. Main St. Wild Blue Yonder performs a combination of classic rock songs and originals. Formed in 2015 by Allan Lowe and Jeff Sims (of the band Dixie Desperados) later adding Jimmy Millsaps (DD's) on drums and Frank Varosi on bass.



8:30: Reefer Madness, Hipp Cinema, Downtown, various days – times. Cautionary tale features a fictionalized and highly exaggerated take on the use of marijuana. A trio of drug dealers lead innocent teenagers to become addicted to "reefer" cigarettes by holding wild parties with jazz music.


033018BarberFRIDAY & SATURDAY:

The Barber of Seville, UF Opera Theater and Ocala Symphony Orchestra. University Auditorium, 333 Newell Dr. This hilarious comedy is for music lovers of all ages and features the famous Overture, Figaro's song and numerous other favorites. The performances are a joint production of the UF Opera Theatre and the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, who have recently brought Die Fledermaus, The Phantom of the Opera, Dido and Aeneas and Opera Goes to the Movies to the stage. 9:00: MOO! Family Day at the UF Dairy Farm, 13200 NW 59th Dr., Hague. Public is invited to learn more about dairy farming and increase exposure of dairy research at the University of Florida. See how milk is produced locally, and learn how University of Florida research supports more efficient, affordable and sustainable milk production. 



9:00: Kids Create at Depot Event Space, Depot Park, 201 S.E. Depot Ave. The Wooly presents art classes for local children led by local art enthusiasts at the Depot Event Space. The goal of this monthly series is to foster the joy of creating and imagining through art and expression. 6:30: Eli Mosley, Dixieland Music Park, 17500 NE US#301, Waldo. Eli Mosley is a native Floridian who gets inspiration from traditional country artists such as George Strait, Brad Paisley, and Brooks & Dunn. He not only writes and sings his own original work, but also covers country favorites such as Check Yes or No by George Strait and Boot Scoot Boogie by Brooks and Dunn.



8:00: Mindwalk, Heartwood Soundstage, 619 S. Main St. Mindwalk has created a musical library mix of nationally recognized albums, movie scores, jingles, award winning big band compositions to recording engineering and sound design.
