In JAMA, a new pooled analysis of six observational studies found an association between eating more eggs and a higher risk of cardiovascular disease and death. This finding comes just four years after scientific experts reached a consensus that "cholesterol is not a nutrient of concern for overconsumption." That conclusion comes from the Scientific Report of the 2015 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee.
