    There's nothing like a good salad and fresh vegetables. I know, because I have a farm. But what's good for some may not be good for others. When our weight get's out of control, we seem to jump on the first diet truck that comes our way. But not all trucks are headed in the right direction. We've replaced the word fat with the word eating disorder. I respect anyone's eating lifestyle. As long as they don't say mine is bad. For me, I can't maintain on vegetables alone. However, they are a large part of my daily diet.

    It takes 3100 calories to put on 1 pound of fat. That means you have to burn 3100 calories to burn off one pound of fat. Now there's good calories and bad calories. For me, to maintain my weight, I need around 6000 calories a day. That comes from a mixture of good home grown vegetables and knowing where my meat comes from. There's also one catch to eating. Know where your food comes from and most important, MOVE. Do something physical. You can't burn one single calorie sitting down. Well, maybe one.
