Momoyaki is like a hidden treasure right smack in the middle of the plaza off Archer Rd with the Crispers, Panera, Moe's, and Starbucks. They have awesome lunch AND dinner specials throughout the week and so much yummy dishes on their menu! It's easily one of my top favorite restaurants in Gainesville! I take all my friends there and now I have them hooked!

A very good friend Daryl Tooley invited me out to lunch today and I chose this place. I got inspired by the picture of the beef teriyaki on this blog, but it did not come to our table that way. It was in a bowl over rice and the serving was much smaller.
I'll go back and try something else, I loved the simplicity of the vegetables cooked just right, a rarity now days.

+ A delightful surprise -- from the outside, it looks like another generic Asian franchise, but I was pleasantly surprised not to be served the usual "gloppy" Asian franchise cuisine. The food is fresh, carefully prepared and served, and the menu has lots of delicious alternatives for people who don't want the sushi or the room temp Korean dishes. Yum!
