Vegan 2 Go

Vegan 2 Go

Soy-free, gluten-free, vegan choices at this lunch stop

By Stacey Churchill, Former GLOB Veggie Chomps & Chews Columnist

I LOVE Vegan 2 Go, and thought I'd share my review of one of my favorite lunch stops even though I now live in Orlando. It's perfect for when you are in a hurry, don't want to spend a lot of money, and still want to eat something healthy and plant-based. The food is perfectly packaged to take on the go and, the most important part, it tastes good. As a bonus, I-75 is close by so the location is easy to get to.

several years ago I posted an article from the New York Times entitled "Yes, Healthful Fast Food Is Possible, but Edible?" on my VegOUTtoEat website. Vegan2Go, Gainesville's only all-vegan restaurant, answers the question above with a resounding YES! This completely vegan restaurant opened in November, 2012 and is basically a take-out establishment where you order at the counter – from the owner David Tran. David's wife is the chef and David also brings you the food when it's ready. And the food is great.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little
bit, but other than that, this is wonderful blog.

An excellent read. I'll definitely be back.
