Delicious food and good company in a great spot in the Health Science Center! I will definitely be getting lunch--not to mention dessert--from Upper Crust on a regular basis. Thanks for including me in the fabulous lunch, GLOB Master! :-)

The Daily GLOB

Happy Monday!

GLOBmaster2017Good morning GLOBers and happy July.  It is good to be back in the Daily GLOB starship directing us toward lunch worlds of unknown description. The GLOB Master has lots to talk about today including a great review about one of the most popular meatless veggie patties in the GLOB.  So let’s get to the point of why we meet here every darn morning.  (It sounds good talking about getting to the point . . .:)

CMC MONDAY MOVIE: Do you often feel like you've been dropped into some dystopian novel or made an actor in a not-so-funny-in-real-life comedy? Were you a child of the Cold War and duck and cover drills in school? Are you worried about the nuclear clock inching closer to midnight?  The Civic Media Center’s Monday Movie, Dr. Strangelove provides some political parody and belly shaking laughter watching this classic movie.  Presented by Bridges Without Borders show time is 7:00 and donations are greatly appreciated.

BO DIDDLEY YOGA WITH KATE M:  Join us at BDP for yoga with Kate Moto on Mondays from 7 - 8:00 pm. Beginner friendly, and all levels of practice are welcome. A mat, as well as a towel or blanket, drinking water, and comfortable clothing are recommended. Free and open to the community, with donations appreciated.

ChayaYoga™ 6 WEEK HATHA YOGA SERIES.: Tuesday evenings from 5:45-7:00 pm held at St Leo's University, Magnolia Parke, 4650 NW 39th Pl B (second floor). July 10th-August 14th, lead by Chaya~Sharon Heller who has been teaching yoga for 25 years. "Chaya is a gifted and radiant yoga teacher.  Her depth of knowledge and experience makes her classes interesting, accurate and clear.  Her authenticity and spontaneity give her a connection with the group that feels uplifting, safe and effective".

This Hatha Yoga series is the holistic application of Yoga and Ayurveda, utilizing the physical discipline of yoga postures, breathing, guided relaxation and meditation.  Guidance includes balance and the integration of body, mind and energy through synchronized breathing and postures, exploring the flow of energy and tension release, moving without pain, gentle to moderate, with Ayurvedic applications, adaptive in nature, developing strength, alignment and flexibility, appropriate for all levels, including beginners.  FOLLOW THIS LINK for registration and more information.

Got lunch plans GLOBers?  Do they include your fair share of brain food always fresh and ready to enjoy . . .
