The very best place for a steak at lunch is Texas Roadhouse on Archer Road.  Always cooked to the perfect medium rare and never a long wait.  Consistently the best steak in town and affordable too!

Happy Thursday!

GLOBmaster2017Good morning GLOBers and welcome to National Milk Day.  What do you think happens that you grow up drinking milk every day, all three meals, and as an adult a glass  of milk is a rare occurrence?  Hmmm . . . The GLOB Master thinks a glass of milk and cookies would be fabulous right at the moment. Were you aware of the fact that In the Middle Ages, milk was called the virtuous white liquor because alcoholic beverages were more reliable than water. . . .?

Love and love lost.  Isn't that the cornerstone to music prose since tme began GLOBer?  Lucas Nelson is a new artist on the music scene and he wants to share his emotional pain after sticking his fingers in the big 'ol electrical socket of love.

011118LucasCOVERSinger, songwriter, and guitarist Lukas Nelson began his career at a young age touring with his father, country music icon Willie Nelson.  Touring heavily by early 2009, including stints opening for Willie Nelson and B.B. King. Employing a mix of blues, reggae, roots, and straight-up American rock, they issued their first studio recording, the Brando's Paradise Sessions EP.

You know how some tunes just grab you right away? Lucas Nelson's Find Yourself did that to the GLOB Master. His unique, bluesy voice, backed by a cool syncopated rhythm of the Promise Of The Real back-up band had me finding my groove right way

Well I don't mind sleeping alone
If it means I don't play your crazy games no more
You're the most precious thing I've ever seen
But I ain't gonna let it slide when you're mean to me
I know the love that I deserve
- Find Yourself
