Man GLOBers, was last week a cold week or what GLOBers. According to the GLOB's favorite weather website it is supposed to warm up considerably this week. 

Finally I have heard a new tune the last few days they will not get out of this old rocker's head.

CMC's MONDAY MOVIE:  DARK GIRLS is tonight's Civic Media Center's Monday Movie and this Documentary explores the biases and attitudes about the skin color of particularly dark skinned women. It explores the roots of classism, racism, and lack of self-esteem within America and throughout the world.

 ENGLISH COUNTRY DANCE: This evening at 6:45 in the United Church of Gainesville, 1624 NW 5th Avenue  you can dance to jigs, reels, and beautiful waltz music by Hoggetowne Fancy. Over the years FR has discovered the restaurant world can be cruel to both owner and customer, and so they have offered up some pessimistic predictions as well.

MEATLESS MONDAY FACTOID: Global meat production tripled from 1971 through 2010 to an estimated 600 billion pounds produced annually. If numbers continue at that rate, sources estimate that meat production will double to about 1.2 trillion pounds of meat per year by 2050.
