Comment of the Day!

I just wanted to report back after using my GLOB FREE Lunch For 2 certificate at Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille. I had the Voodoo shrimp appetizer sauteed in creole style garlic herb butter served with crostinis and it came to our table served in a little skillet, the shrimp was excellent. I had the Harry's style chicken for my lunch entree with just the right amount of jack and cheddar cheeses melted over the chicken and as a side dish smashed potatoes. My husband came with me and shared the lunch for 2 certificate with me and he enjoyed his meal as well, he had the salmon with smashed potatoes. I have to say all and all the customer service and food was great. Thanks Harry's and special thanks again to the Glob Master and staff.

The Daily GLOB

Happy Monday!

Good morning GLOBers!  How as your weekend? The GLOB Master spent a wonderful Friday evening at the Actors Warehouse seeing their new play STEAL AWAY.  Just FYI the final scenes of this show will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.  I had the pleasure of accompanying the GLOB Ayuervedic Health Coach  Ms. Chaya- Sharon-Heller -- who took the image above and was befriended by the "Actors' Warehouse Gang of Six'!  Who woulda thunk it that robbing banks could be so much fun. . .

CMC Monday Movie: Waiting for 'Superman' - Tonight at the Civic Media Center in Downtown Gainesville the Education Task Force will present a screening of the documentary Waiting for 'Suprman' starting at 7pm.  A documentary directed by David Guggenheim produced in 2010 critiquing the American public education system by following the stories of several students who are striving to be accepted into a charter school. Although it has been 7 years the information of this documentary is still very much relevant since not much has changed since its production. Waiting for “Superman” received the Audience Award for best documentary at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010.

Gainesville Music Association Public Symposium & Workshop - Join your music community the first Monday of every month this afternoon at 6:00 in the Aurora downtown for a workshop on a carefully developed aspect of different areas of the music business. These events begin with a presentation and workshop on a thoughtfully researched topic that our organization thinks will genuinely help our music community.

Holiday Arts & Craft Extravaganza - The Gainesville Health and Fitness Thornebrook's women's facility is holding a Holiday Arts & Craft Extravaganza this afternoon at 4:00.  Treat yourself to a night of holiday shopping with local arts & craft vendors. Please bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots.

What's for lunch GLOBers?  If you have enough for me I will trade you all the brain food you can eat fresh and ready to enjoy . .
